Hello Stuart and Anthony,

Gary Sausmikat from Williamsport, PA.

I’d like to give Anthony due recognition.  I recently purchased a set of Super Sanding Blocks but unfortunately the package arrived “opened/damaged” and empty.  After sending Anthony an email, the response I received was a personal phone call.  I was a bit surprised but that shows the commitment he has towards running Goodman Industries…. the correct way, with integrity and making things right.  Happy to say I was sent a replacement set which arrived the other day, in good condition.

“What’s on my Bench”?  Along with my current builds I can now say a set of Goodman Blocks too.  If anyone is wondering if they should pull the trigger and buy a set, I say yes, I use them all the time.  (I attached some pics).

I am writing to let you know how much I enjoyed your interview with Aaron Skinner.  I found it fascinating. I have watched many of his YouTube videos and found the story of his entry into the professional modelling world very interesting indeed.

I am also looking forward to Anthony’s upcoming series on Resin kit building.  I have a few resin kits of ships from the Babylon 5 TV show. They have been hibernating in my stash for a few years now and I haven’t worked up the nerve to tackle one.  Hopefully, I will pick up a few tips and summon up the courage to have a go.

As you guys christened Julian’s fan group “Julian’s Jewels”  I would like to propose the name “Anthony’s Acolytes” for the followers of the upcoming “In-Depth Report”.  My first thought was “Goodman’s Groupies” but after some reflection, I thought that sounded a trifle seedy.

Jason McAdam – Product designer @ Wingnut Wings

Jason McAdam was born in 1984 in Wellington, New Zealand. He attended Upper Hutt College between 1998 and 2002. Whilst there his 2 favourite subjects were Design and History.

From 2003 to 2006 Jason Studied Industrial Design at Victoria University of Wellington.

Upon completion, Jason graduated with an Honours Degree that he has since put to good use with Wingnut Wings.

Jason has been with Wingnut Wings since early 2007. 12 and a half years later he is enjoying his work with the niche manufacturer more than ever and very excited about the up and coming releases and ever-increasing enthusiasm for WWI aviation within the hobby industry.

Whilst he is not a modeller in the true sense of the title, Jason has always loved the hobby. His Grandad was an avid railroad scale modeller (HO gauge) and Jason’s summers were spent watching him craft his wonderful layouts.

No sooner had he completed a layout than it was disassembled and work on the next layout was underway. Jason would frequently inherit a vast collection of buildings from his Grandad’s old layouts. This would see the family pool table transform into a train layout of his own with the help of some Tri-ang trains and track that Jason’s Dad still had from his younger days.

Jason hopes to create a small layout in the future using these old buildings (that he still has) along with his Dad’s trains, but for now, his modelling energies are 100% focused with Wingnut Wings.

It’s not a seller’s market.
