How we can help: I know Wingsy Kits, Special Hobby and others have suggested charities for a monetary donation. I’d trust any of those the companies share. We should remind people to be media savvy and research any other charities. There will be scams, there always are. I’d remind people that Polish and other neighbouring nations which have charities actively helping as well as internal Ukrainian needs.

Second: Be media savvy when sharing information. Don’t get caught sharing disinformation or misinformation. Warfare is online as much as on the ground, know the source of the information and don’t share immediately or you might be helping the bad guys.

WHAT’S ON THE BENCH

Stuart – ATST from Bandai, Painting some weathering done. Gloss coat is next, but going to take a break on it.

Started on the 1/72 Airfix Eurofighter. It has a very bad twist in the fuselage. Tried to use warm water and warp the fuselage back. Need to make another attempt. If it doesn’t work I’ll switch to something else… So many choices.

Geoff – lots of “finishing” and cleaning up of various projects! Paint, penciled panel lines and decals on the ancient Revell D558-2, paint and decals on the not great Meirkraft D558-1, weathering on the very nice Modelcollect E tank and V1 launcher, paint and weathering on the nice MAC Distribution JB2 Loon, painting the not bad Testors 1/48 V1 and construction on the companion Baku, and started in on the old mold Revell 1/32 Lysander interior, with lots of scratch building details.

Terry – Final touches on the Moosaroo entry. The camera sees things my eyes don’t, so I’m touching these things up a bit. Then I’ll get a couple of final pictures and call it done! Meanwhile, I picked up a Bandai 1/1000 EFCF Fast Combat Support Tender Asuka kit, shook the box and a finished ship fell out! After a bit of cleaning in the shop, I painted the base coats and it’s ready for gloss coats.
